Club assembly meeting was to called order by President Craig Gapter

Location of meeting. Foundation pays for the issue of the room. Sue Bridgeman made a motion to remain in the church and Karen Murphy second the motion.

Discussion of the cost of meals along with dues.

It has been decided to stay with our current breakfast and location.

Guest day is October

Hardship fund has been set up to help with members having issues with dues.

The Rotary Leadership Institute , Rocky Mountain Division Sponsored by District 5450

The Rotary Leadership Institute is a training program established to improve your knowledge of Rotary and build the leadership skills for future leaders of Rotary.

See President Craig Gapter for details.

 

Program:
Speakers, Robin Menschenfreund and Jessica Cowan with St Vrain Family Center, which is located in Longmont, CO.  St Vrain Family Center offers a wide variety of community services and programming to meet needs of the St Vrain Valley.


S.A.F.E. Services for the children and supervised parenting for divorce and separated situation for parents, guardians or grandparents.
Offer positive parenting classes and Boot Camp for new dads and love and logic.

SAFE Services offered:
Supervised Exchange
Supervised Parenting Time

Goal is to get the word out to families who need the services.

Marty Quigley and Susan Jankowsky will be our membership chairs and Karen Murphy is our Program Chair.

 

Samantha Herren invited our members to The Tiny Tim Center "Ipads for Education" fund raiser.  Call 303-776-7417 for details on how to help raise funds for this event.

Swearing in of new officers

Speaker:

Carl Brauer - Northern Consertation District

Spoke about the NISP Northern Integrated Water Supply Project

Which is a collaborative effort between the Northern Colorado Water Conservancy District and 15 Front Range Municipalities and Water District

South platte water project will be water we can capture and maintain in Colorado and it is pumped into Galeton.  If the federal government gives the ok, Galeton could be finished in 2016, Glade in 2022.

Galeton Reservoir - 45,000 acre feet, east of Ault and northeast of Greeley.

Three different bodies of water to construct and they are all tied to the dames permit, at different times.
