Member Susan Jankovsky will speak about her mission trip experience to Jamaica to help with corneal transplants, eye exams, and giving out eyeglasses.

September 16     Weekly meeting

Our presentation will be "Using Meditative Practices To De-Stress" by Arlene Cohen Miller.   Arlene will focus on a variety of meditative practices you can use to de-stress on the spot or before or after your workout. Arlene is an A-V Rated attorney, a professional Mentor & Life Coach with a certified ACC Rating by the International Coach Federation, and a seasoned facilitator.  Arlene also has a daily yoga practice and loves hiking in the mountains of Colorado.

September 23     Weekly meeting

Joan Peck and Karen Benker will speak about their new organization called "Citizens For Finishing Fast Tracks".  They were featured in a front page article in the TimesCall l on June 30, 2015 called "Enough.  We're done asking."

September 30     Weekly meeting

Josh Dones will cover how firearms can prevent crime and offer self protection. He will give examples of accidents that could have been prevented.  He will also show stats on crime rates dropping in areas where concealed carry is climbing. The overall theme will be the importance of hands on training. Firearms are a tool and with proper education and attitude can be safe as well as a great means of self defense.  Josh aims to take the intimidation out of firearms training and create a comfortable environment to learn and build confidence.
